CBNZ training opportunity in Christchurch - Challenging our Challenges

Challenging our Challenges:

Lance Burdett - March 2026 Lance Burdett's sessions at the Stronger Together Forum were clearly the biggest highlight for many who attended. So to make sure the Mainland doesn't miss out, CBNZ is bringing Lance to Christchurch on 11 March 2026. Lance.is a former construction manager turned lead crisis negotiator.  With 22 years in the NZ Police, 13 as a negotiator, Lance trained top-tier tactical units across the globe.  He holds mulitple diplomas and a Master's in Terrorism, Safety and Security, and now blends tactical insight with psychological wellbeing. A bestselling published author of 3 books and a trusted media voice, Lance helps people to stay safe, stay well and stay connected through workshops and keynotes.  He teaches and entertains at the same time, so it's a privilege to welcome him to Christchurch. More information about his workshop will be posted in the New Year.  Thanks to NZ Lotteries funding, the cost will be just $80 per person (- CBNZ members will receive a discount) - if invoices are needed beforehand for fundraising please let Sarah know). Venue: The Salvation Army 17 Southampton Street Christchurch   Registrations open now.

More Training for 2026

We hope to announce more dates in the New Year including our first to be held in Rotorua focussing on mental health and neurodiversity again with Alana Billingham, who specifically designed a course for the financial mentors that has been run already in Auckland and Christchurch.  We are also planning a special manager's training day.  Details to follow!
