Sorry, but I was away on sick leave. Are there videos to recap the hui, as I am currently a supervisor and keen to learn new tools to guide our staff and training.

Re: Welcome to Supervisor Forum

Hello Jan Its Mali here In my first brief meeting with a FM to prepare him for his first mentoring meeting with his client What areas would you cover in this first brief supervisory meeting ? Thanks Mali

Re: Welcome to Supervisor Forum

Kia Ora Mali, Welcome to the Supervisor Forum! I'm inviting other Supervisors to chip in too. ???? I think many of us can contribute to this one so Mali you pick and choose what you think might best for you both; 1. Preparation of the room, resources and access to information the FM or client might need (internet wifi capability/pass word?) 2. Walk through any information about the client (if known), warm the FM up to anticipating what financial information the client might provide, what information the FM might need to access, or potential options might be available. Pass the baton along for the next contributor... Jan ????

Re: Welcome to Supervisor Forum

Thank you so much Jan for your contribution

Re: Welcome to Supervisor Forum

When is the next Supervisor COP? I can't see one listed for November

Re: Welcome to Supervisor Forum

Hi Maliepo - I have seen some new FM be put off because their first client is a little more complicated than just finances (hopefully you can read between the lines there ;) ). I would always try and ensure that my brand new FM was seeing a more straight forward case - throwing them in the deep end doesn't always work as good practice.

Re: Welcome to Supervisor Forum

We are currently outlining future scheduling and will respond with further information next week.   Cheers
